Ironside (1967)

After a life-altering assassination attempt leaves him paralyzed, Chief of Detectives Robert T. Ironside transitions to a consulting role within the police department. He teams up with Detective Sergeant Ed Brown and policewoman Eve Whitfield to tackle intriguing cases. Initially hired as a home aide, ex-con Mark Sanger gradually evolves into a key team member. Following four seasons, Officer Whitfield departs, making way for Officer Fran Belding to join the diverse ensemble. Together, they navigate the challenges of crime-solving while showcasing camaraderie and resilience.
