Slam Dunk (1993)

Sakuragi Hanamichi, a tough junior high rebel, is accustomed to brawls and heartbreak until he encounters his dream girl, Haruko Akagi, in high school. Determined to impress her, he joins the school’s basketball team, which aspires to dominate the national circuit under the guidance of Haruko’s brother. However, Sakuragi faces a steep challenge—having never touched a basketball before, he must also contend with a talented freshman who is capturing both the team's attention and Haruko’s heart. His journey to win her over becomes a comedic struggle filled with unexpected twists.
