Jasmina Avramović
Jasmina Avramović, a celebrated Serbian actress, began her journey in the arts by completing high school in Valjevo, graduating in 1979. She further honed her craft at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where she earned her degree in acting in 1985, studying under the esteemed Arsa Jovanović. Throughout her academic years, she was recognized as a scholarship recipient, and upon graduation, she became a devoted member of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre.
Avramović's impressive body of work features a variety of memorable roles, including Tanja in "Oginsky's Polonaise," the Marquis de Sade in "Nijinsky," Ariel in "Bura," and Viola in "Epiphany Night." Beyond the stage, she has made significant contributions to television and film, appearing in acclaimed productions such as "Some Strange Land," "Elektra," "At the Eternal Faucet," and "File 128."
Her talents have not gone unnoticed, as she has received multiple annual awards from the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, along with a prestigious award from the Secretariat for Culture of Belgrade. In 1998, she was honored as the Valjevka Personality. Currently residing in Valjevo with her family, Avramović is married to economist Zoran Avramović, and they share a son, Andrija, born in 1989.
