Alice Barclay
Alice Barclay has enjoyed a vibrant career spanning over 25 years as a versatile actor, collaborating with esteemed theatres and companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, and Bristol Old Vic. Her extensive repertoire includes notable engagements at the Orange Tree, Salisbury Playhouse, Finborough, and Battersea Arts Centre, among others. Alice has a passion for fostering new theatrical works and innovative interpretations of classic plays, recently contributing to projects at the Bristol Old Vic with Headlong, and previously at venues like the NT studio and Soho Theatre.
Alice was an original cast member involved in the research and development of acclaimed productions such as "War Horse" (National Theatre and West End) and "The Grinning Man" (Bristol Old Vic and West End). On television, she has appeared in popular dramas including "A Spy Among Friends" and "The Long Call," along with notable roles in series like "Emmerdale," "Doctors," and "Casualty."
In addition to her acting career, Alice co-founded Live Canon, a dynamic live poetry theatre company, and frequently collaborates with them in London and throughout the UK. She has lent her voice to several audio CDs for Live Canon and has recorded nearly 20 audiobooks for the Calibre Audio Library, showcasing her talent and dedication to the performing arts.
